Who are We: HotU is a small, close-knit guild, for mature players wanting to enjoy their game play. We require all new members to be at least 18 years of age. This is due to the fact that some of the topics mentioned in guild chat could be classified as rated R. Other then that we just ask that all of our members feel free to participate in guild chat and that if anyone needs help, please ask. Our members are primarily American, however we do have UK, Canadian and other members. All are welcome! All members are promoted to officer immediately. We do this so that everyone in the guild has a chance to recruit.

What we Do: We have members of all levels of expertise. We are mostly a PVE guild, however we do have some members that participate in PvP/Alliance Battles. And would love to participate more in GvG if we can get enough people on at one time. We prefer to do missions together and we do have farming parties in UW, FoW, Elite Dungeons in EotN, and are always up for trying some place new. We use a Teamspeak Server for voice chat when everyone is willing.

We do not faction farm. We like to give our members the freedom of pretty much doing what they like. If you want to AB and donate faction, that is your choice. We also do not have rules about how much time you must spend on the game. We understand that real life happens. We would prefer that you let us know if you are going to be off the game for a while, but it is not a requirement and we will not kick you for that.

Origins: We started this guild after experiencing dissatisfaction with the way the guild leader, of our former guild, started to run things. All of us were seeking a group of people that enjoyed playing with one another and didn’t want to get caught up in a lot of rules and restrictions.

Our Vision: A guild of the people, for the people. We believe that every member should have a voice. Any suggestions or ideas by our members are considered and ultimately decided on by a collective vote of the Co-Founders.

Alliance: We currently have an alliance with two other guilds, but are currently searching for more guilds. We are the Alliance Leaders now, but are flexible, if there is a great alliance out there. We would love to be part of an alliance with other like-minded guilds with members 18+. All we ask is the freedom to say what we like in Alliance chat. However, rudeness to other members will not be tolerated. Warning: Alliance chat can get vulgar, so if you have easily offended members, we are NOT the alliance for you.
